After my husband had been in the Navy for 10 years and all of the travelig we did, there were many issues that were different than our non-military neighborts. When I heard about HEROES through Stephen Ministry, I thought that it might be a way I could be a help to others. The military has always had a special place in my heart because of the years we served. I do believe the wives serve (in a different way) as much as the enlisted husband. They need as much love, care, and uplifting as the husband does. They need a listening ear and a caring heart.
